Finally managed to complete a LO for my DF CT that I've been working on unsuccessfully for a few weeks. I originally wanted this gorgeous kit from Cinzia Loosemore, Perfect Pair
to use for some pics of Mac as a baby playing with & eating a pear for the 1st time. I thought the pear theme would be perfect for them but in my drooling haste to get my hands on the kit, I forgot to check my photo colours & they were all wrong being bright green and red. I finally reluctantly gave up, threw away all 16 versions & started fresh with a different photo. Anytime I do a non-Mac LO, it's almost sure to be a desperate alternative! After all that time & stress, this only took me a couple of hours & at least I dont hate it & it can go into my SoU album. This is the last pic taken of us, celebrating Colin's birthday, before we knew I was expecting Mac. I was around 2 weeks or so pregnant then & totally oblivious AND quaffing down champagne, beer, vodka & gin in quantities (extended Xmas & New Year celebrations, pretty much the only time I drink). We found out about 3 weeks after that, and there began a whole new chapter, so this is pretty much the last time we were just "us 2" :)

LOL, I too had a weekend of drinking bliss before finding out I was pregnant ... I do have to say I had even taken a test and it turned out NEGATIVE! So I proceeded to drink an entire 5th of vodka in Bloody Marys ... I craved tomatoes that whole pregnancy by the way ... lol.
